ABOUT AMY

I have worked with children of all preschool ages and am passionate about fostering curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning. I’m a mother of two and a recent resident of Rhode Island. I love to cook, bake and travel.

APPROACH

I use the Reggio Emilia curriculum to create engaging, child-centered environments that foster exploration and self-expression.

I am committed to nurturing each child’s unique strengths while supporting their development in a warm and engaging setting. My experience has taught me the importance of fostering meaningful connections with both children and families to create a positive and enriching learning experience.

Astronaut Amy

Years later, kids and parents still request Astronaut Amy.

Beyond my teaching skills, I am deeply appreciated and well-respected by faculty and parents—and wildly loved by my kiddos. In fact, I have quite a reputation for my alter ego, “Astronaut Amy.” Through space-themed storytelling and props, including my signature astronaut helmet, I have taught a variety of lessons that captivate young minds. It has been such a hit that, even three years later, kids and parents alike still request Astronaut Amy.
